SeniorNet
An award winning site whose mission is to provide older adults education for and access to computer technology. Includes on-line courses, policy discussions, articles, book clubs, issue forums and other areas and links of interest to older adults.

AARP
Link to a series of discussions on "The Interconnectedness of Generations" on the AARP website. Contains an overview of the issues and strategies in forming a society for all ages.

Generations Together
Homepage to the Intergenerations Studies Program at the University of Pittsburgh. Contains information on a variety of programs that involve older adults and young people working side-by-side as well as involving older adults who volunteer in the community to address the needs of very young children.

The Virginia Intergenerational Network
The network is a partnership of the Northern Virginia Community College and the Virginia Department for the Aging. This cooperative venture is a model for other institutions and organizations to build intergenerational linkages within local communities.

Temple University Center for Intergenerational Learning
The center develops cross-age programs, provides training and technical assistance and dissemination of materials on intergenerational programming. The Center also serves as a national resource for institutions, organizations and communities on intergenerational programming.

Generations United
Homepage to this national coalition dedicated to intergenerational policy, programs and issues. Center to the coalition's philosophy is that in order to gain public support, intergenerational programs must demonstrate that the programs fulfill a public purpose by strengthening the community at large.

Illinois Intergenerational Initiative
This site, "Technology is Linking Generations," gives short summaries of programs that involve intergenerational partnerships based on use of the Internet or other computer technology. The site is housed at the University of Southern Illinois.

Intergenerational Urban Institute
The Institute is located at Worcester State College. Its mission is to create a learning community of college students of all ages -- young, middle-aged, and elder students -- that will enable them to work effectively in service to the neediest areas of the wider Worcester Community.

The Brookdale Center on Aging
An intergenerational program of Hunter College in New York City, the center is responsible for developing, administering, evaluating, and publishing pilot projects that link young and old New Yorkers for their mutual benefit.
